When I am creating, I often contemplate the sentimental value that may attach itself to these pieces. Although sentimentality can sometimes be associated with a negative connotation, I prefer to focus on the positive aspects of it. Jewelry, and the reasons we adorn ourselves with it, can have deeply personal and profound meanings. Or, the reason could be as simple as we appreciate the way it makes us look.
